Detroit native, Atlanta based emcee Boog Brown recently released a new mixtape, “Grind Season Vol.1″. Boog has recently united with producer Apollo Brown to form a duo called UPS.  This summer they’ll be dropping their debut album titled The Brown Study LP. Boog wanted to give people something to listen to while waiting for UPS’ debut, hence “Grind Season Vol.1″ was dropped. “Grind Season Vol.1.” has a few guest appearances from staHHR, Fluxwonda, and Mojo Swagger with production by Lex Boogie, 14KT, and Illastrate.

Grind Season is a state of being,” says Boog on the meaning behind the mixtape’s title. “Every day you must grind for your vision. Mine is making honest music.”
